Papillon

The Papillon is a small fine boned dog that is known for its long soft hair that springs out from its erect ears like a butterfly. When their ears droop they are known as Phalene and one litter can have both Phalene and Papillon. They are sweet alert dogs that need mental engagement to be happy but do well in most households.

Health Tests Recommended for Papillons

If you are buying a Papillon puppy you should make sure that your breeder has tested the parents and puppy for potential congenitalCongenital means present at birth.
