Recall

Merrick has recalled their Jr. Texas Taffy treats in stores nationally including Petco and Amazon.com.  The FDA reported that no illnesses have been reported yet but there may be a contamination with salmonella which could lead to serious illness.  Make sure you check all your treats and if you have some contact the company for a full refund or just toss them out.

We like an honest company and Blue Buffalo seems to be just that.  They are voluntarily recalling a few lots of their foods because of potential contamination by Vitamin D at the manufacturer.

The FDA has recalled Pro-Pet Adult Daily Vitamin because they contain salmonella.  Pets who have taken the Pro-Pet Adult Daily Vitamin and experience any of the below symptoms should take their pet immediately to their veterinarian.

Vomiting
Diarrhea
Fever
Stomach Pain
Lethargy
Loss of appetite

People that handle the product may also become ill.  It is advised that all pet owners should discontinue use of the product immediately.
