Don't Drug The Competition Just To Get An Edge!

Dog Shows - By Staff Writer on Thursday, May 5, 2011 - 15:45

No matter how tough the competition is at a show, do not drug other dogs!  A Pennsylvania man drugged another competitors dog to help give his girlfriend an edge.  Ralph Ullum fed Pixie, another dog in the show, Benedryl and Protonix presumably to knock out Pixie in the show ring.

He allegedly fed the drugs to Pixie, handled by Jessica Plourde, of Newark Valley, New York, last December, which was competing with his girlfriend’s dog Diana.

Ullum had been assisting his girlfriend at the show when Ms Plourde saw a crushed pink pill near Pixie's cage on the second day of the competition, police said.

Not only is it not ok to give another persons dog drugs, its just down right bad to cheat in the ring!
