Coat Composition
This type of coat is made of soft loose curls that cover the body and face. Because of the curl in the top coat, it can appear to be the same length as the under coat unless brushed out.  When the dog is clipped both coats will be the same length. This coat does shed and will only grow to a determined length.  This type of coat can be corded.

Shedding Pattern
This coat sheds in a mosaic pattern.

Breeds
The following breeds have a loose curly coat:

American Water Spaniel
Havanese
Irish Water Spaniel
Kerry Blue Terrier
Pyrenean Shepherd
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
